Sometimes you can pick the perfect place to stay on the internet!
Our room had everything we needed - well we supplied the wine.
It was right in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest and we were surrounded by the most beautiful tress.
Apparently there was a cassowary (large, flightless bird near extinction) on the property. We didn't get to see her but there was a full size replica by the office.
And we were just a short drive from some gorgeous, pristine beaches.

Julie, I have to be honest - Mark is enjoying my new camera. He takes 90% of the photos.
Thanks for checking out the blog!!
What a fun "retreat"! Those beaches are beautiful!!! It seems you guys are making the most of your time there - are all these travels packed into weekends?
Lauren, we've done all our adventures on the weekends but Mark squeezed in 2 extra days for this one. We are off to New Zealand for 12 days next week and I'm very excited!I also can't wait to get back to my California home.
